Israeli forces shoot and injure Palestinian man in central Gaza Strip

GAZA, 16 Apr 2013 - Israeli forces have shot and injured a young Palestinian man in the central Gaza Strip, Press TV reports.


Palestinian medical sources said the 32-year-old victim was hit in the chest in the al-Bureij refugee camp late on Tuesday.

Medics added that the wounded Palestinian was in moderate condition in hospital.

Israeli journalist accuses army of executing two Palestinians

WEST BANK, 15 Apr 2013 - A report written by Israeli Journalist, Gideon Levi, and published by Haaretz Hebrew Language daily, accuses the Israeli military of deliberately executing two Palestinians, who were recently shot by the army at the Ennab roadblock, east of Anabta near the northern West Bank city of Tulkarem.

The two Palestinians, identified as Naji Al-Balbisi, 18, and Amer Ibrahim Nassar, 17, were shot by several rounds of live ammunition from a close range. At least four Palestinians have been injured.

Abu Hamdiyeh's body arrives at Palestinian institute for autopsy

HEBRON, 3 Apr 2013 - The body of Maysara Abu Hamdiyeh, a cancer-sufferer who died in Israeli custody on Tuesday, was delivered to a Palestinian forensics institute for an autopsy on Wednesday, the Palestinian Prisoners Society said.

Abu Hamdiyeh's body arrived at the Institute of Forensic Medicine at Al-Quds University in East Jerusalem, the PPS said in a statement.

He will be buried at the Martyrs' Cemetery in Hebron on Thursday after noon prayers.

Lawyer: Abu Hamdiyeh given painkillers, antibiotics for cancer

BETHLEHEM, 3 Apr 2013 - Israeli prison doctors refused to treat Maysara Abu Hamdiyeh, who died in Israeli custody on Tuesday, and gave the cancer sufferer painkillers and antibiotics, his lawyer said.

Rami Alami visited Abu Hamdiyeh in Eshel prison on March 12, and a record of his visit reveals the prisoner's long struggle with Israeli authorities for medical treatment.

GAZA, 3 Apr 2013 - Rejim Israel (IOA) terus menutup satu-satunya laluan komersil Karm Abu Salem ke Gaza pada Isnin untuk hari keempat berturut-turut.

 

Raed Fattuh, yang bertanggungjawab menyelaras kemasukan barangan ke Semenanjung Gaza berkata bahawa IOA memaklumkan jabatannya tentang penutupan laluan pada Ahad dan Isnin dan juga menutupnya pada Jumaat dan Sabtu setiap minggu.
